Payment integrations: Network International and Arabi Mobile, linked to your register

When the card machine is not connected to the register, the cashier types the amount twice, mistakes slip through and the end-of-day card total never quite matches. First Solution connects its point-of-sale system and Platinum ERP to Network International card terminals and to Arab Bank payments, including Arabi Mobile, so the amount goes from the register to the payment, the approval comes back to the invoice, and the accounts reconcile themselves.

Why connect payments to the register

Without integration, every card sale is entered twice: once on the register and once on the card terminal. A wrong digit means a customer charged too much or too little, and at closing time someone has to compare the terminal slip with the register report by hand.

With integration, the register is the single point of entry. It sends the exact invoice total to the payment, receives the result, and records it on the invoice with the payment method. Card and mobile payments then appear in Platinum ERP per branch, register and cashier, ready to be matched with the bank settlement.

Network International card terminals

Network International is a licensed payment acquirer in Jordan that installs and maintains card terminals for merchants and banks. Its terminals can be connected directly to the First Solution register.

  • Amount sent from the register

When the cashier chooses card, the invoice total is sent to the Network International terminal. Nobody types the amount on the machine.

  • Approval on the invoice

The approval result returns to the register, and the invoice is closed with the card payment and its reference stored for later checks.

  • Declined or cancelled cards

If the card is declined or the customer cancels, the invoice stays open and the cashier can choose another payment method.

  • Split payments

Part in cash and part by card on the same invoice, each recorded with its own amount.

  • Refunds

Returns paid back to the card are linked to the original sale, so the refund matches the returned items.

  • End-of-day settlement

Card totals per register and cashier in Platinum are compared with the terminal settlement, so differences are found the same day.

Arab Bank and Arabi Mobile

Arab Bank is one of the largest banks in Jordan, and its Arabi Mobile app is used by many customers and businesses for mobile payments. First Solution links Arab Bank payments to the register, the e-store apps and the accounts.

  • Pay with Arabi Mobile

Customers can pay from Arab Bank's Arabi Mobile app, and the confirmed payment is recorded against the invoice at the register.

  • Arab Bank card terminals

Card payments on Arab Bank terminals are recorded on the invoice with the payment method, like any other card sale.

  • Online payments

Orders placed in the e-store apps can be paid online through Arab Bank, and the paid order arrives in the system as a sale.

  • Bank reconciliation

Payments received through Arab Bank are matched with the bank statement in Platinum accounting, branch by branch.

One card payment at the register

  1. Total

The cashier scans the items and closes the invoice total.

  2. Send

Choosing card or mobile payment sends the amount to the payment.

  3. Pay

The customer taps, inserts the card or confirms in the app.

  4. Record

The approval returns and the invoice is closed and sent to JoFotara.

  5. Settle

Card and mobile totals are matched with the bank at day end.

Questions about payment integration

Do I need my own agreement with Network International or Arab Bank?

Yes. The merchant agreement and the terminal come from Network International or from your bank. First Solution connects them to the register and to Platinum ERP.

Which terminal models are supported?

The supported models depend on the acquirer and the connection type. We confirm your terminal during the demo or before installation.

What if the terminal is offline?

The register keeps working. A supervisor can allow a card payment to be recorded manually, and it is marked for checking at day end.

Is the payment shown on the JoFotara invoice?

Yes. The invoice is reported to JoFotara as usual, with the payment method recorded in the system.
